Welcome to Foodipie. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.

2. Services

Foodipie is a platform that connects customers with local restaurants. We facilitate the ordering process by allowing you to browse menus, place orders, and make payments. We do not prepare food ourselves but act as an intermediary between you and the restaurants.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing a platform to browse restaurant menus
  • Processing your orders and payments securely
  • Notifying restaurants of your orders
  • Providing customer support for platform-related issues
  • Facilitating communication between you and the restaurant

3. Ordering Process

When you place an order through our platform:

  1. You select items from a restaurant's menu and proceed to checkout
  2. We process your payment and send the order details to the restaurant
  3. The restaurant confirms the order and begins preparation
  4. The restaurant handles the delivery of your order
  5. You can track the status of your order through our platform

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for any errors in your order details.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation before food preparation: If you cancel your order before the restaurant begins preparing your food, you will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation after food preparation has begun: Refunds for cancellations after food preparation has begun are at the discretion of the restaurant. We cannot guarantee a refund in these cases as the restaurant has already invested resources in preparing your order.
  • Food quality issues: If you experience issues with food quality, we will assist you in communicating with the restaurant to seek a resolution. While we do not directly control food preparation, we take food quality concerns seriously and will advocate on your behalf.

To request a cancellation or report a food quality issue, please contact our customer support team immediately through the app or website.

5. Delivery

Delivery of orders is handled directly by the restaurants or their delivery partners. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on factors such as distance, weather conditions, and restaurant preparation times.

We are not responsible for delays in delivery that are beyond our control. However, we will assist you in tracking your order and communicating with the restaurant regarding delivery status.

6. Food Quality

While we do not prepare the food ourselves, we are committed to ensuring you receive quality service. If you have concerns about food quality:

  • Report the issue to us immediately through our platform
  • We will contact the restaurant on your behalf
  • We will work with the restaurant to resolve the issue appropriately
  • Depending on the nature of the issue, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement at the restaurant's discretion

We regularly review restaurant performance and may discontinue partnerships with establishments that consistently fail to meet quality standards.

7. Limitation of Liability

Foodipie serves as an intermediary platform connecting customers with restaurants. We do not prepare food and therefore:

  • We are not directly responsible for the quality, safety, or ingredients of food prepared by restaurants
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of menu information, including allergen information, though we strive to ensure restaurants provide accurate details
  • We are not liable for any illness, injury, or damages resulting from consumption of food ordered through our platform
  • We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by factors outside our control

However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving any issues with restaurants and will take appropriate action against restaurants that consistently fail to meet standards.

8. Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding an order, please contact our customer support team first. We will attempt to resolve the issue by mediating between you and the restaurant.

If we cannot resolve the dispute through mediation, any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or through a notification on our platform. Your continued use of our service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
